It sounded like the end of something (the 1980s? hair metal?), or maybe the beginning of something ("alternative rock"? "Generation X"?). Today, the album has become so encrusted with myth, that it's hard to wrap your ears around it, to really hear it. In 2005, the Library of Congress added Nevermind to its roll call of the world's most significant recordings. It's a museum piece, a record that merits a display in the Smithsonian. And, of course, a doorstopper 20th-anniversary box set. How you choose to mark the occasion will depend on the state of your stock portfolio, and the degree of your wonkiness. The Deluxe Edition augments the remastered LP with fantastic B sides (check "Curmudgeon," featuring the howlingest metal- dude vocal Kurt Cobain ever recorded) and stupefying live performances; plus demos, previously unreleased BBC sessions and eight cruddy-vérité "boombox rehearsals" of Nevermind tracks. Fork out an extra $100-plus for the Super Deluxe Edition and you get all that, plus a version of Nevermind mixed by Butch Vig, before Andy Wallace was brought in for the final mix, a CD and DVD of a mind-blowing 1991concert at Seattle's Paramount Theatre, and a 90-page book. The extras offer history lessons – and help you hear Nevermind with fresh ears. The live versions of "Breed" and "Drain You" show why Nirvana may be the greatest power trio ever: The heave and thrust of Krist Novoselic's bass, the Bonhamworthy attack of Dave Grohl's drums, the tumult of Cobain's singing, which proved screaming yourself hoarse could be as powerful, and as beautiful, as any vocal style. Compare the boombox demos with the finished LP – where Cobain's songs were burnished to a fiery glow – and you realize it was pop, not punk, that turned Nirvana into the biggest band on Earth. As works of melodic craftsmanship, "Smells Like Teen Spirit," "Lithium" and "Lounge Act" are up there with the best of Buddy Holly, Smokey Robinson and other genius hook masters. Twenty years on, Nevermind is everywhere: Its loud-quiet-loud dynamics even power hits by Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. The lasting impact on mainstream bubblegum is ironic, considering its big theme: the ambivalence of an independent band going for the brass ring. Just listen to the dripping disdain of Cobain's most famous refrain: "Here we are now, entertain us." Cobain claimed to be embarrassed by Nevermind's glossy production: "It's closer to a Mötley Crüe record than it is a punk-rock record," he said. Of course, that's what you expect him to say. His punk purism was a religion, but it was also a shtick, his version of showbiz. Listening to Nevermind now, you marvel at what a good show the band puts on. For a record so full of angst, it's quite a party – an adrenaline rush that sweeps you up. That's not a feeling you can pin to any genre or ideology. That's not punk or grunge or even pop. Tablet PCs are a dying breed, and Windows 8 is still at least a year away. Until we see what Microsoft's next operating system has to offer, one tablet PC shows us why this form factor is still a winner. Samsung's Series 7 11.6" Slate breaks the mold.


Let's just throw this out there: the fact that tablets are enjoying as much success as they are still surprises us. Playing with touchscreens is fun. But, for all of their entertainment value, tablets just can't provide the same functionality you'd expect from a device able to replace more powerful notebooks. The only explanation, then, is that most folks are buying them in addition to, rather than as substitutes for, other technology. 
If you're a road warrior, packing one more device certainly isn't an attractive proposition. The whole point of mobility is supposed to be consolidating down to keep you faster, lighter, and more free. But every type of device seems to perform certain tasks sort-of-well, so you might instead end up with a notebook, an e-book reader, a cell phone of course, and perhaps even a point-and-shoot camera. Then you have chargers and interface cables. Tossing a tablet on top of that stack just doesn't sound appealing.
Tablet PCs, on the other hand, really do make it possible to scale back on the number of devices you lug around in a more realistic way. While tablets are small, sexy, and fast enough for basic content consumption, their lightweight operating systems and sometimes-limited app selection continues to be a source of frustration. Tablet PCs support desktop operating systems and rely on a digital pen instead of a mouse. That's an important distinction that enables any OS X-based program on a Modbook, whereas the iPad is constrained to apps from the Apple App Store.

Unfortunately, tablet PCs are pretty gosh-darned rare, which is somewhat surprising given their simultaneous portability and interoperability with Windows-based programs. Moreover, the performance of a tablet PC is only limited by the hardware a vendor can cram inside.
The latest Windows-based tablet comes from Samsung. Dubbed the Series 7 11.6" Slate, it breathes much-needed life into this critically endangered form factor, beating out Asus' Eee Slate as our favorite tablet PC.

In the Windows Store terms of use, Microsoft made it clear that it can pull the kill switch at its discretion.
The more I read, the more I wonder how so many people can miss the real danger this poses to the average user. I immediately ask, what happens if a hacker cracks the mechanism and can write some malicious code to brick millions of computers? Or worse, with all the already infected machines we know exist, what if their Trojan Horse overlords simply call up the bricking code to hide their tracks?

There are a lot of possibilities here and a heck of a lot of them are moA number of stories about a Windows 8 kill switch have appeared on the Web, each with its own odd and ominous tone. The blogosphere has gone berserk with all sorts of menacing commentary, such as the following from the Vigilent Citizen:
The very anticipated operating system Windows 8 will have a feature that was never found on PC's before: A kill switch that can remotely delete software and edit code without the user's permission. Although Microsoft claims the switch would only be used for software that is downloaded from its app store, no official policies clearly define the actual purpose of the kill switch... nothing is truly considered "illegal" and that includes issues regarding spying, censorship and free speech.
Pretty scary, kids. Less-than-totally-freaked-out Computerworld has this to say:
Kill switches -- so called because a simple command can deactivate or delete an app -- are common in mobile app stores. Both Apple and Google can flip such a switch for apps distributed by the iOS App Store and Android Market, respectively.re worrisome than thinking that Microsoft may pull the kill switch to shut up someone who hates Steve Ballmer.
In fact, nobody has even mentioned the national security threat that this suggests. First of all, Microsoft is not known for designing anything secure. The company cannot do it. So, how does adding a kill switch keep users and the nation as a whole safe when we know in advance that it will be hacked like everything else the company has done?
Supposedly, the process is directed at apps or products that will be sold over the Web from the app store. This seems fine on the surface. Everybody seems to do this already. Amazon has such a feature on the Kindle and Google has one on its Android phones. Apple has comparable capabilities with the iPhone.
Nobody should be surprised by Microsoft's addition. For over a decade, people have discussed the idea that Microsoft could use the kill switch technology to kill bootleg or counterfeit versions of its OS. I'm sure the company would employ the code to kill counterfeits if it is confident it could get away with it and confident it wouldn't be bricking perfectly good systems left and right, thus finding itself in a legal entanglement and a public relations nightmare.
You all know the company has had meetings about this and no engineers have been able to guarantee that it would work as advertised.
This backlash fear will not deter a hacker who just wants to have fun. It will not discourage a foreign belligerent who wants to disrupt the US infrastructure. The game changes quick when this capability falls into the wrong hands.
One must assume that this global consideration is on the minds of the enemies of the state since President Obama has openly discussed how his "Internet Kill Switch" plan is a solid safety precaution if the Web is attacked. Shutting down the Web, in itself, seems like the ultimate attack. Just as killing a man because he has the flu is not a cure, killing the Internet is not a solution to anything.
So, here we are with a very threatening technology now being employed by Microsoft. This is going to be rich. I'll be watching.

Assalamualaikum warohmatullahi wabarokatuh,
Kali ini nubi sekedar sharing salah satu doa yg biasa dibaca para sufi, doa ini bernama Maqalad as-Samawati wal-Ardl / Kunci2 Kekayaan Langit dan Bumi. Doa ini langsung turun dari Rasulullah SAW kpd salah satu sahabat beliau Utsman bin Affan ra, sehingga tidak diperlukan ijazahan2 lagi hehe krn memang ditujukan buat umat beliau

Doa ini sebenarnya khusus untuk penyembuhan (memberikan perlindungan terhadap penyakit2 selama dibaca) tetapi sebenarnya keuntungan yg didapatkan tidak terbatas untuk kesehatan fisik. Sesuai dengan hadits berikut :

Diceritakan bahwa Utsman bin Affan ra, meminta keterangan mengenai ketentuan Allah tentang Kunci2 Kekayaan Langit dan Bumi. Rasulullah SAW bersabda kepadanya : "Engkau telah meminta sesuatu kepadaku yg tak seorang pun pernah menanyakannya kepadaku sebelumnya".
Kunci2 kekayaan langit sebagai berikut :



Laa ilaaha illallahu wallaahu akbar
Wasubhaanallaahi walhamdulillaahi
Wastagfirullaahalladzii laa ilaahailla
Huwal awwalu wal aakhiru waz zhoohiru wal baatinu
Yuhyi wa yumiitu wa huwa hayyul la yamuutu

Rasulullah SAW selanjutnya bersabda : "Wahai Utsman, siapa saja yg mengucapkannya seratus kali setiap hari akan dianugerahkan sepuluh kebajikan. Pertama, semua dosanya yg terdahulu akan diampuni. Kedua, azabnya dari api neraka akan dihapuskan. Ketiga, dua malaikat akan ditunjuk untuk mengawalnya siang dan malam agar terhindar dari azab dan penyakit. Keempat, dia akan dirahmati. Kelima, dia akan mendapat berkah sebanyak orang yg membebaskan seratus budak dari turunan Nabi Ismail as. Keenam, dia akan mendapatkan berkah seakan-akan dia telah khatam membaca Al-Quran, Zabur, Taurat dan Injil. Ketujuh, sebuah rumah akan didirikan untuknya di surga. Kedelapan, dia akan dinikahkan dengan bidadari surga. Kesembilan, dia akan diberikan mahkota kehormatan. Kesepuluh, permohonan syafa'atnya untuk tujuh puluh kerabatnya akan diterima.
"Wahai Utsman, jika engkau cukup kuat engkau tak akan melupakannya. Engkau akan menjadi orang yg sukses dan engkau akan melebihi siapa pun sebelum dan sesudah engkau."

Sistem Transjakarta Busway

Sistem Transjakarta Busway terdiri dari sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, sistem operasi dan pengendalian bus yang efektif, sistem tiket yang terkomputerisasi, sistem pengamanan yang handal dan petugas yang terlatih. Mulai dari perencanaan,

pembangunan dan pengelolaan sistem Transjakarta disediakan oleh Pemerintah Daerah DKI Jakarta, sementara kegiatan operasional bus, operasional tiket dan kegiatan penunjang lainnya dilaksanakan bekerjasama dengan pihak operator. Operator bus yang melayani di koridor busway, yaitu : PT. Jakarta Exspress Trans, PT. Trans Batavia, PT. Jakarta Trans Metropolitan, PT. Jakarta Mega Trans, PT. Primajasa Perdanaraya Utama, PT. Eka Sari Lorena Transport, PT Bianglala Metropolitan, dan PT Transjakarta Busway.



Transjakarta busway memiliki 192 halte disepanjang delapan koridor busway dengan ketinggian platform 110 centimeter dari tinggi permukaan jalan agar tersedia akses yang rata dengan bus. Setiap halte busway dilengkapi dengan akses untuk pejalan kaki yang terhubung dengan jembatan penyeberangan orang, yang dirancang khusus untuk mempermudah pengguna layanan busway. Sarana dan prasarana di halte ada loket pembelian tiket, dan pintu barrier sebagai jalan masuk dan jalan keluar bagi pengguna jasa layanan. Selain itu disediakan fasilitas tempat sampah, informasi rute dan pintu otomatis untuk memberikan kenyamanan dan keamanan saat menunggu di halte.

Saat ini jumlah armada bus 524 unit dioperasikan berdasarkan rencana operasi yang terjadwal di 10 koridor. Bus yang diberangkatkan pada titik awal diatur sesuai dengan waktu yang telah ditentukan baik pada jam sibuk maupun jam tidak sibuk. Selain rute regulator Koridor 1 sampai dengan 10, untuk meningkatkan pelayanan dan mengurangi kepadatan penumpang di halte transit, maka BLU Transjakarta Busway menambah rute-rute langsung yang berdasarkan sistem jaringan dan dapat diakses penumpang sesuai dengan tujuan perjalanannya.

Jumlah tenaga kerja yang terlibat dalam operasional busway sekitar 3500 orang yang terdiri dari pramudi, petugas pengamanan, petugas tiket dan petugas kebersihan.

in de middle of d nite ( memmoriam)

mumpung lg sepi nh di shelter busway, huaah ngantuk tp gx bisa tdur gara gara minum kopi indocafe coffemix , setelah gw bt baca koran gw coba2 jalan2 ke fb, niat gw ci cma sbentar dwnk ol, tp kmudian gw teringat mantan2 gw, kira2 ada gak y di fasbuk ( bukan fas bunga ya..), namanya lg bnyak yg menggandrungi jejaring sosial ini ( apalagi gandung ??) mungkin ada yak kemungkinan gw ktmu di fb persis kyk lagu gigi yg judlnya"my fasbuk" akhirnya gw mulai browsing aka menjelajah fb smbil bdoa mudah2n ktmu y Allah mantan gw yg terpisah jauh dimana mana he5x.
Ada 1 dwnk ternyata mantan gw yg skrg udh merit >.< ketmu, tp setelah itu gw jd lupa nama2 mantan gw saking bnyakny (sok bgt y gw ),
